Ms Shumeez is one of our grade R educators and is usually the first curriculum based class educator a leader has. This is where our leaders’ perception is born and the seed for their love for education is planted. Our educator’s task is to ensure our leaders have a positive outlook on learning and accepting the academic lifestyle that comes with it. Ms Emandien’s classroom capabilities is showcased in the very adapted leaders she produces as well as the loving relationships she has fostered with them.
The grade R curriculum forms part of the foundation phase, and is established around languages, mathematics and life skills. It is the beginning of the official schooling career of any scholar across the country, and the Two Oceans Leadership Academy holds firm to the curriculum (as set out by the department) and the holistic teaching style( as set out by the visionaries of the school).
